Hi there! This is that legal page that all website are suppose to have about privacy. You can read all the jargon on the next tab if you like, but in essence it says that we treat your personal information, including your email address, in the same way we’d like people to treat our own … not that they always do!
We also don’t sell, rent, hire, lease or let anyone peek at your email addresses. We hate spam as much as you, so we don’t share your email addresses.
When you subscribe to our mailing list(s) you agree to let us send you email. We try not to send you too much, and we do our best to make sure you only get the email that is most relevant and of most interest to you. You can help us make sure you’re only getting relevant stuff by telling us a bit more about yourself.
At the bottom of every email we send there is a link for you to unsubscribe – any time – but why would you want to?
Occasionally we do work in partnership with other organizations, and if we collect any information for a joint project we might share that with our partner, but if we’re going to do that, we’ll ask you first.
So if you want the jargon, look on the next tab. Or if you want to know about our email services look at that tab. Otherwise let’s get back to making our classrooms and homes more thoughtful places.

We find email is a great way to keep in contact with you, and to send you all sorts of information. To help us do this we use a company called “Get Response”.
Throughout the website you’ll find various forms where you can sign up to receive services, or places where you’re asked if you want to receive information from us. When you sign up to one of these we add you to a group in Get Response.
For example, when you register for a free online course, you are added to our “Habits of Mind” group that receives our newsletter. When you subscribe to the guided version of the Introduction to Habits of Mind you are added to another group that gets all the emails that guide you through the introduction course. We have lots of these groups, so rather than sending everyone everything, we only send you the information you want and have asked for.
At the bottom of every email we send there is an “unsubscribe” link. If you’ve got any questions about the emails we send, or why you’ve received something, or why you’ve stopped receiving something, just use the contact form – we’re happy to help.
